Coming to school
Your child can be brought to school any time after 8.45am for an 8.55am start. The doors will open at 8.45am and there will be a member of staff on the door to greet your child.
If you arrive later than 8.55am you will need to take your child to the school office. Please do not knock on the yellow doors as learning has already started and the staff are busy with the children.
We would like to encourage children to come in to the school building on their own as soon as they are happy to do so, as we have limited space in the school building.
Please be aware that, before 8.55am, it is your responsibility as a parent, to supervise your child. Please do not leave your child at the school gate or unsupervised in the playground.
Collection from School
The school day finishes at 3.25pm. When collecting your children from the Reception classes, please stand in the main school playground near the yellow doors. Hedgehog Class exit through the gate next to their classroom. Owl Class exit through the hall doors. Squirrel and Fox Classes exit through the classroom doors.
The staff will let one child out at a time, so please be patient and wait for your child to be at the front of the line. They staff will not let your child go until they have had eye contact / a wave from you.
Children will not be handed over to anyone that we do not know. Please let us, and your child, know if someone else will be collecting them from school. They will need to know the password.
Children are in school for 32 and a half hours a week.
